A Vision Rooted in Citrus and Sustainability

YUZU was created from the belief that land can be both productive and inspiring. Our vision is to cultivate a regenerative citrus farm that serves as a destination for rest, connection, and innovation. Phase 1 is the physical and philosophical foundation of that vision, centered around rare Yuzu citrus and designed with intention at every level.

The Yuzu Citrus Orchard

The centerpiece of Phase 1 is a 10–20 acre working Yuzu orchard. These fragrant, flavorful fruits are organically grown and irrigated through smart water systems, with harvests used across our food, beverage, and skincare offerings. More than a farm, the orchard is an immersive experience—guests can walk among the trees, taste fresh-picked Yuzu, and learn about the legacy and potential of this rare citrus.

Modular Living, Sustainably Designed

Surrounding the orchard are 25 modular retreat homes built to operate off-grid with solar energy, smart climate control, and water-efficient systems. These units are designed for nightly stays, long-term wellness residencies, and creative retreats, offering modern comfort nestled within the grove. Each home represents a new chapter in sustainable living—efficient, beautiful, and deeply connected to nature.

The BARN: A Venue for Gathering

Anchoring the community side of Phase 1 is The BARN, our modern, flexible event space. Designed to accommodate weddings, corporate off-sites, culinary events, and seasonal festivals, it features sweeping views of the orchard, a modular layout for indoor-outdoor flow, and an atmosphere that celebrates creativity and connection.

Farm-to-Glass at the YUZU Restaurant & Distillery

Next to The BARN, our open-air restaurant and micro-distillery bring Yuzu’s flavors to life. Guests will enjoy citrus-forward cuisine crafted from local and seasonal ingredients, and sip on small-batch Yuzu spirits, seltzers, and infused beverages made on-site. The experience highlights the full cycle of Yuzu—from tree to table to glass.

A Fully Integrated Ecosystem

Solar energy powers daily orchard operations. Aquaponic systems fertilize and nourish companion crops. Robotic systems assist with harvesting and maintenance—quietly supporting the rhythm of the land. These aren’t futuristic gimmicks—they’re part of a long-term commitment to regeneration, resilience, and education. Phase 1 is a living prototype of what’s possible when design, technology, and land stewardship align.

That vision continues with OASIS a collection of off-grid residential units thoughtfully placed within the Yuzu orchard. Designed for nightly stays, creative retreats, and long-term wellness residencies, OASIS offers modern comfort immersed in nature. It’s where guests can live, rest, and reconnect—surrounded by the systems, beauty, and intention that define the YUZU ethos.
